McCombie Builders were integral in both the design and build of this eco-friendly 1.5 storey family home. After the demolition of an old bungalow huge retaining walls were required to level up a steep site. The combination of imported granite, wet dash harling , slate roof and timber windows creates a stunning timeless exterior. The inside boasts hard wood finishing throughout, an open plan kitchen diner and wide bright hallways. The specification is high with a factory insulated timber frame kit, underfloor heating on both levels, solar panels and integrated hoover system. We even treated the family to a sunken trampoline to keep the kids happy. Because of its clever design this house is extremely energy efficient and it’s one off location makes it a wonderfully unique property.
